Production Postgres that Conjoin operates for you

Get Postgres with a connection pooler and a standby for automatic failover, on the compute tier that you choose. Your code connects and sends queries, while Conjoin operates the cluster.

Provision a database, get a connection string, start querying

Conjoin sets up connection pooling, daily backups, and TLS on every connection when it provisions a Postgres instance, then returns a connection string for it. As your traffic grows, you can move the instance to a larger compute tier with no downtime.

What Conjoin sets up on every Postgres instance

Flexible compute tiers

Each compute tier adds CPU and memory over the tier below it, so you can start on a small tier and pay for a larger one only when you need the capacity.

Connection pooling

Every instance includes a connection pooler that shares the server's connections among concurrent requests. Because Conjoin raises the pool limit on higher plan tiers, you can drop the external pooler from your stack.

Performance insights

The Console lists your slowest queries with their execution times and call counts. Conjoin also suggests indexes for those queries, with an estimated improvement for each, and applies the one that you pick.

Zero-downtime scaling

Upgrade compute, memory, or storage with your application connected. Conjoin lets every active query complete on the current tier before it moves the instance to the new resources.

Auto-failover

When the primary node fails, Conjoin promotes the standby to primary in under a second, with no data lost. Your application reconnects with the connection string that it already uses.

Extensions support

Enable a PostgreSQL extension such as PostGIS, pg_trgm, or uuid-ossp through the Console or the API. Conjoin activates the extension without a restart of the instance.

Conjoin Live streaming

Conjoin Live captures Postgres changes through logical replication and streams them to your frontend. Subscribe to a table with useCollection, define a Live View for a server-side query, or configure a Change Stream that delivers changes to a queue, a search index, or a pipeline.

Encrypted connections

Conjoin encrypts every connection with TLS by default. From the Console or the API, you can rotate credentials, control which environments can connect, and manage connection strings.

Build faster with solutions designed for real-world needs

Launch a production Postgres database in under a minute

Conjoin provisions a Postgres instance with production settings in under a minute. In the same step, it turns on TLS, connection pooling, daily backups, and automatic failover.

Impact

Conjoin configures the pooler, the backup schedule, and the standby during provisioning, so you set up none of the three separately.

Scale your database with its connections open

Move the instance to a larger compute tier while it serves traffic. Conjoin keeps the active connections open through the change and lets in-flight queries finish.

Impact

You can upgrade during peak hours, since Conjoin performs the upgrade without a maintenance window.

Speed up slow queries with index recommendations

Under Performance insights, the Console breaks down the execution time of your slowest queries. For each query, Conjoin recommends the indexes that can reduce its execution time, each of which you can apply with one click.

Impact

Conjoin finds the slow query and the index for it, so you skip the manual work of reading query plans to find a missing index.

Pool connections without a separate service

Conjoin pools the connections for every Postgres instance inside the Database service, with a pool size set by your plan tier.

Impact

Because Conjoin operates the pooler, you deploy and patch no pooler of your own. When concurrency grows, you can move to a higher plan tier for a larger pool.

Build your next app on Conjoin

Conjoin will open with a free Build tier, while the pricing page already lists the launch prices for Pro and Business. If you tell us what you're building, we'll talk you through early access.
